Bring the whole family for our summer creek clean-up. We’ll gather in the back parking lot at 9:00 a.m., split into teams, and spend two hours pulling litter and invasive vines from the stream corridor behind the church.
At 11:15 we’ll circle up under the oaks for a short creation liturgy — scripture, a song, and a blessing for the watershed — followed by lemonade and cookies.
What to bring
Closed-toe shoes you don’t mind muddying, a water bottle, and work gloves if you have them (we’ll have extras). We’ll provide bags, grabbers, and first-aid. Kids are welcome with an adult; the creek bank is gentle but uneven.
No RSVP needed, but a reply helps us plan the lemonade. See you at the creek!
